AMSE Regular Conference “Challenges of doctor mobility in a changing Europe – Standards and recognition for patient safety”, 7 October 2016 in Prague

During the conference we will discuss the challenges of student and doctor mobility in a changing Europe. Based on this background we will deal with the question whether Europe needs a common standard for medical schools, teaching hospitals and medical education and how much research is required in institutions teaching and training students to become medical doctors.

We will further discuss in detail the impact of an increasing mobility of medical doctors and students in Europe and the automatic recognition of medical licenses within the EU. International recognised experts in these fields will give their input in these important topics.

The conference will take place under the auspices of the Speaker of the Senate and Committee on Health and Social Policy and Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Human Rights and Petitions at the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic
