AMSE is Member of the European Alliance for Subject-Specific and Professional Accreditation & Quality Assurance

The European Alliance for Subject-Specific and Professional Accreditation & Quality Assurance (EASPA) is a non-profit association seeking to provide a platform for the cooperation between the European and international quality assurance networks and international organisations in the development and harmonisation of their activities in the field of quality assurance and quality improvement in higher education. It thus contributes towards the development and implementation of the European Higher Education Area. To this end, EASPA provides a collaborative forum for the community of disciplinary, field specific European networks of quality assurance that assess the quality of study programs, schools or professional individuals.

At the General Assembly of EASPA which was held in Berlin on 2 May 2016 at the Third Global Conference for Specialized and Professional Accreditors in cooperation with ASPA entitled New Initiatives in Quality Assurance based on field-specific Learning Outcomes AMSE was elected as a new member of EASPA. Further members are ENAEE (European Network for the Accreditation of Engineering Education), EQANIE (European Quality Assurance Network for Informatics Education), AEC (Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Academies de Musique et Musikhochschulen), ECTNA (European Chemistry Thematics Network Association), IFA (ISEKI Food Association), EAPAA (European Network for Public Administration Accreditation), ECBA (European Countries Biologists Association), EPS (European Physical Society), EFG (European Federation of Geologists) and THE-ICE (International Center of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education).
