AMSE General information
What is the purpose of AMSE ?
AMSE creates a forum for European Medical Faculties to share experiences in the fields of education, research and management. AMSE seeks to stimulate co-operation between Medical Schools in Europe and to initiate and sustain relations with other professional, governmental and non-governmental organisations in education, research and health care.
AMSE organises an annual conference on topics of particular interest to deans, heads of school and other staff members of Medical Faculties.
How is AMSE organised?
The Society operates through the General Assembly and the Executive Committee.
There is a meeting of the General Assembly during each Annual Conference. The Executive Committee manages the affairs of the Association and, together with a local committee, organises the Annual Conference in an Academic Medical Centre in Europe.
The President of the Association is also Chairman of the Executive Committee.

Who can be a member of AMSE?
Each Medical School and Faculty in Europe is eligible for membership and shall normally be represented by the Dean or another senior member of the academic staff.
How to join
Schools or Faculties may become members by paying an annual membership fee of €200 (exclusive of bank transfer fees).

complete a membership application form and return this to the AMSE office.
